Presume Competence

We believe every person with Down syndrome is capable of growth, learning and achievement. Our starting point is always potential, never limitation.

🤝

Inspire Inclusion

We work with schools, employers and communities to break barriers, change perceptions and create spaces where every individual is welcomed and valued.

🚀

Empower Potential

We equip families and caregivers with the tools, information and peer network they need to champion the individuals they love — at every stage of life.

A community built on love, science and advocacy

Founded in 2012 by Glen Niles — a father with a son with Down syndrome — DSFN has grown into Trinidad and Tobago's leading voice for inclusion and family support.

The environment of a child born with Down syndrome will determine how high-functioning he or she becomes.
— Glen Niles, Founder & President, DSFN
